Opening Session

The Journey is the beginning of a church planting movement...

It is a small church network, a church of churches, or even a cell church-house church model. However you try to define it, the Journey values small gatherings of believers, whom live a lifestyle of evangelism. Leadership is developed from within and gatherings multiply into additional small churches as they grow.

Currently there are two small gatherings, one on Tuesday night and one of Sunday morning, that meet weekly at homes in Langley, BC.

Our Journey gatherings consist of the following elements….
Together: A time to share a meal and our lives with each other.
Talk: A reflective time to search out God’s presence and understanding, while sharing the good and bad of our lives with each other.
Thanks: A time to express gratitude to God for who He is and what He has done in our lives, through song, poetry, motion, words, etc.
Truth: A time to study and search for practical knowledge and wisdom that should guide who we are and how we live.
Tell: A time to share about the work that God is using us for in our daily interaction with those around us.
